How much does a retrofit cost?
A retrofit that keeps your existing X-ray is $12,900 with an LG 17×17 detector, workstation, installation, and training, plus applicable sales tax. The complete Velion LG DR System is quoted after a site review.
Do I need to replace my entire X-ray system?
Usually not. If your generator and table work, a retrofit converts your existing room to digital. You keep setting exposure at your current console.
Is my X-ray compatible?
Send us photos of your generator label, control console, and X-ray room. We confirm compatibility before you commit.
How long does installation take?
Retrofits are typically installed in 1–2 days, including training. Complete systems are scheduled after we review power and room requirements.
What's not included in the retrofit price?
Wall or arm mounting, extra workstations, electrical or network work, generator repair, and travel outside Southern California. We quote these in writing first.
How much is Cloud PACS?
Velion Cloud PACS is for veterinary practices. Six months are included with every veterinary system or retrofit, then $119/month with no per-study or per-user fees. Terms apply. Medical retrofits send images to the PACS or reading service you already use.
